Effects of isoflavones as the most examined agents are discussed acting on vasomotor, cognitive, psychological, urogenital and sexual symptoms as well as on the cardiovascular system, bones, and metabolic age-related changes. Despite obtaining controversial data resulting from the analysis, it may be concluded phytoestrogens hold promise as an alternative to menopausal hormone therapy. It is reasonable to conduct further extensive studies to evaluate efficacy and safety of using plant-derived compounds in postmenopausal women.</p>
Несмотря на то что в результате анализа получены разноречивые данные, можно сделать выводы о перспективности рассмотрения фитоэстрогенов в качестве альтернативы менопаузальной гормональной терапии и целесообразности проведения дальнейших обширных исследований для более точной оценки их эффективности и безопасности.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>менопауза</kwd><kwd>постменопауза</kwd><kwd>климактерический синдром</kwd><kwd>фитоэстрогены</kwd><kwd>изофлавоны</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>menopause</kwd><kwd>postmenopause</kwd><kwd>climacteric syndrome</kwd><kwd>phytoestrogens</kwd><kwd>isoflavones</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Россия в цифрах. 2020.
