The most effective method of preventing infection is vaccination against HPV infection. One of the most effective preventive measure to reduce the risk of death from HPV-related cancer diseases is a regular screening. None of the treatments of HPV infection will not totally effective and will not prevent disease transmission. In most cases, treatment is aimed at getting rid of symptoms but not cure infection. Immunomodulators for management of HPV-associated diseases could not have evidence base. Clinically proven treatment with inosine pranobex eliminates HPV to 98% cases and 3 times reduce frequency of relapses in combined therapy. Correct and complete counseling, aimed at informing the patient about the connection of HPV infection and cancer, as well as the possibility of preventing infection by timely vaccination and proper compliance are issue at present time. Isoprinosine saves a woman from the HPV, reducing the possibility of recurrence and malignancy, only when patient has complete course of therapy.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Распространенность ВПЧ-ассоциированных заболеваний в России и в мире является высокой. В основном эпидемиологические данные ограничены папилломатозом и генитальными кондиломами. Самыми эффективными методами предотвращения ВПЧ-ассоциированных заболеваний является вакцинация, воздержание от половых контактов или моногамное проживание с неинфицированным партнером. Одной из наиболее эффективных профилактических мер для снижения риска смерти от онкологических заболеваний, являющихся следствием ВПЧ-инфекции, является регулярное скрининговое обследование. Ни один из видов терапии ВПЧ-инфекции не является абсолютно эффективным и не предотвращает передачу вируса. Иммуномодуляторы, применяемые для контроля ВПЧ-ассоциированных заболеваний, часто не имеют должной доказательной базы. Клиническими исследованиями доказано, что инозин пранобекс до 98% случаев элиминирует папилломавирусы и в комбинации с деструктивным лечением снижает частоту рецидивов в три раза. Однако низкая комплаентность (главным образом снижение дозировки и продолжительности лечения) может привести к рецидиву заболевания. Актуальным является правильное и полное консультирование, направленное на информирование пациента о связи ВПЧ-инфекции и раковых заболеваний, возможности предупреждения инфекции путем своевременной вакцинации, а также на необходимость следованию полному курсу лечения.
