We conducted a PRISMA-reported systematic review for the contemporary evidence base and a separate historical bibliographic component. Searches were performed in PubMed/MEDLINE, Cochrane CENTRAL, eLibrary, and CyberLeninka. After deduplication, 705 unique records were screened; 23 studies were included in the systematic component. Thirteen historical sources were additionally included (overall period covered: 1710–2025). Data extraction followed a standardized form; methodological quality for the systematic component was appraised using the JBI checklist. All quantitative comparisons were performed at the study level and interpreted as exploratory.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. Historical sources report a wide HR range predominantly obtained by clinical assessment (e.g., 72–172 bpm). Contemporary instrumental studies confirm substantial physiological variability in healthy term newborns, with reported HR values spanning from 55 bpm up to 229.6 bpm. Mean HR values appear broadly comparable across source groups (approximately 136–140 bpm). However, maximal HR values are lower in historical sources compared with contemporary instrumental data, and marked differences exist across groups in HR measurement methods.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion. Reference HR values in healthy term newborns exhibit wide physiological variability, limiting the use of rigid thresholds without considering postnatal age, functional state, and measurement modality. While mean HR values remain broadly comparable across historical periods, extreme values (particularly maximal HR) and measurement approaches differ substantially.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><sec><title>Цель</title><p>Цель: систематически обобщить опубликованные данные о референсных (нормативных) значениях частоты сердечных сокращений (ЧСС) у здоровых доношенных новорожденных в первые 7 суток жизни и оценить вариабельность показателя в зависимости от метода регистрации и возраста обследования; дополнительно провести историко-библиографический анализ эволюции представлений о норме ЧСС.</p></sec><sec><title>Материалы и методы</title><p>Материалы и методы. Выполнен систематический обзор с отчетностью по PRISMA для современного корпуса исследований и отдельным историко-библиографическим компонентом. Поиск выполнен в PubMed/MEDLINE, Cochrane Central, eLibrary, CyberLeninka. После дедупликации для скрининга осталось 705 уникальных записей; в систематический компонент включено 23 исследования. Дополнительно в исторический компонент включено 13 источников (1710–2025 гг.). Извлечение данных выполняли по стандартизированной форме; проводили оценку качества исследований систематического компонента. Статистический анализ проведен на уровне публикаций и носил эксплораторный характер.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Исторические источники демонстрируют широкий диапазон ЧСС, полученный преимущественно клиническими методами (например, 72–172 уд/мин). Современные инструментальные исследования подтверждают высокую физиологическую вариабельность ритма сердца у здоровых доношенных новорожденных (минимальные значения до 55 уд/мин, максимальные – до 229,6 уд/мин). Средние значения ЧСС в разных группах источников остаются сопоставимыми (около 136–140 уд/мин). При этом максимальная ЧСС в исторических источниках ниже по сравнению с современными инструментальными данными; также отмечаются выраженные различия между группами по методам регистрации ЧСС.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Норма ЧСС у здоровых доношенных новорожденных характеризуется значительной физиологической вариабельностью, что ограничивает применение жестких пороговых значений без учета возраста, состояния ребенка и метода регистрации.
