The pediatric medical records with NPD and psychomotor retardation were analyzed: data on the pattern of pregnancy and maternal delivery-related complications as well as delivery-associated complications and fetal developmental abnormalities, the maternal morbidity pattern before and during pregnancy; data on paternal health state as well as available social information about parents were also assessed.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. It was revealed that potential causes for delivery of children with NPD and subsequent development of psychomotor retardation were due to complications during pregnancy such as infections of pregnant women, gestosis, anemia; among maternal complications in childbirth of special attention were long anhydrous period as well as surgical interventions.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion. The course of pregnancy and childbirth as well as emerging neonatal pathology may be also influenced by the climatic and meteorological conditions of the Arctic zone causing Arctic hypoxia. Significant correlations between solar wind parameters and morbidity of pregnant women may indicate a need for more extensive studies regarding effects of geocosmic factors on course of pregnancy, childbirth and fetal gestation.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><sec><title>Цель</title><p>Цель: выявление возможных причин, обусловливающих или предрасполагающих к врожденным нервно-психическим расстройствам у детей, и оценка возможности проведения превентивных мероприятий для снижения риска рождения детей с врожденными пороками развития.</p></sec><sec><title>Материалы и методы</title><p>Материалы и методы. Проанализированы медицинские карты детей с нервно-психическими нарушениями (НПН) и задержкой психомоторного развития: данные о структуре осложнений в период беременности, осложнений в родах со стороны матери, осложнений в родах и аномалиях развития со стороны плода, структура заболеваемости у матерей до и во время беременности; также привлечены данные о здоровье отцов и имеющиеся социальные сведения о родителях.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Выявлено, что возможными причинами рождения детей с НПН и последующим развитием задержки психомоторного развития являются такие осложнения в период беременности, как инфекции беременных, гестозы, анемии; среди осложнений в родах со стороны матери особого внимания заслуживают длительный безводный период, а также оперативные вмешательства.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. На течение беременности и родов, формирование патологии новорожденных также могут влиять климатометеорологические условия арктической зоны, обусловливающие арктическую гипоксию.
